Why look beyond alarms and cameras?
Alarms and cameras are useful, but they react. They tell you someone is breaking in. They do not physically stop anyone. By the time help arrives, a quick smash-and-grab can be over.
That is why more people want something that helps prevent entry in the first place. Windows and sliding doors are often the easiest way in, so that is where they start.
A preventive answer: security screens
A security screen is built to take force while still letting in air and light. Ours use 316 marine-grade stainless steel mesh in reinforced frames made to resist prying, cutting and forced entry. Unlike bars or bulky gates, they blend in with the house.

It started with one home
Recently, the captain of a Cerritos neighborhood watch group had security screens fitted to her own doors and windows. After living with them for a while, she said something simple:
“I feel safer. It’s one less thing to worry about.”
She liked them enough to want her neighbors to know the option exists. In April 2026 she held an open house, and we set up a table of sample doors and windows so people could see and handle them.
What we fit
- Security window screens: ground-floor windows, side-yard windows, bedrooms and living rooms. Fixed, casement and fire-escape types.
- Security screen doors: hinged, sliding, French, bifold and stacking doors, and doors with pet flaps.
Every screen is made to measure. Bedroom windows can have fire-escape screens that release from the inside.
