Fixed Window Security Screens
The simplest way to secure a window. Open it for air whenever you like. The screen stays put.
- No bars
- Clear view
- Fresh air
What it is
A fixed security screen is a stainless-mesh panel fastened over the window. It does not open. You slide or lift the window behind it as usual, and the screen keeps the opening secure.
Not for escape windows. A fixed screen does not open, so it should not go on a window someone may need to climb out of in a fire. Bedrooms need a fire-escape screen.
Good for
- Kitchen, bathroom and living-room windows.
- Ground-floor windows facing a side yard or alley.
- Sliding and double-hung windows.
- Closing in a porch or patio with screen panels.

How it is built
Fastened where nobody can reach.
- 316 marine-grade stainless steel mesh, woven and powder coated. It will not rust or warp.
- A patented clamp grips the mesh inside a heavy-duty aluminum frame (per Majestec).
- The screen sits in your existing screen track or is fixed to the outside of the frame (per Majestec).
- It is held by fasteners that cannot be reached from outside (per Majestec).
- The mesh filters up to 60% of harmful UV rays (per Majestec).

Common questions
Can I still open and clean my window?
You open the window from inside as usual. Ask Roman about the easiest way to clean the outside of the glass on your windows.
Do the screens make the room darker?
A little, in the same way an insect screen does. You still get daylight, fresh air and a clear view out.
What colors can I have?
Majestec lists nine standard frame colors plus custom colors. Ask Roman which colors are available for your screens.
How do I get a price?
Every opening is a different size, so we quote after measuring. The quote is free. Call or text (424) 352-1723, or send a request.
