What it is

A pet door is a small flap set into the lower part of a security screen door. Your pet pushes through it. The screen door itself stays shut and locked.

The mesh around the flap is the same stainless steel as the rest of the door, and it stands up to claws and paws (per Majestec).

Good for

  • Back doors that lead to a fenced yard.
  • Front doors on a covered porch.
  • Households where someone is always getting up to let the dog out.

How it is built

Freedom for them. Security for you.

  • 316 marine-grade stainless steel mesh, woven and powder coated. It will not rust or warp.
  • A patented clamp grips the mesh inside a heavy-duty aluminum frame (per Majestec).
  • The screen door keeps its own three-point lock.
  • The flap is sized to your pet when the door is made.

Common questions

Does a pet flap make the door less secure?

The door around the flap stays locked. Roman will talk through the right size and position of the flap for your home.

Will my pet scratch the mesh?
