Fire-Escape Window Security Screens
For bedrooms, and any window you might need to climb out of. Locked to the outside world. Quick to open from inside.
- Bedrooms
- Opens from inside
- Quick release
What it is
A fire-escape screen, also called a quick-escape or egress screen, is a security screen that opens from the inside. From outside it behaves like a fixed screen: there is nothing to grab or lever.
It exists for one reason. A security screen should never stop your family getting out in an emergency.
Good for
- Bedrooms, and any room someone sleeps in.
- Rooms with only one door and a long way to an exit.
- Children's rooms, where you want the window open on warm nights.

How it is built
A release only you can reach.
- 316 marine-grade stainless steel mesh, woven and powder coated. It will not rust or warp.
- A patented clamp grips the mesh inside a heavy-duty aluminum frame (per Majestec).
- A quick-release bar on the inside opens the screen (per Majestec).
- The same mechanism locks the screen shut against tampering from outside (per Majestec).
- It can be made to open from the left, the right or the bottom (per Majestec).

No. The release is on the inside only.
How do I get a price?
