Security Screen Doors & Windows in the San Gabriel Valley

Hot inland afternoons call for open doors and windows. Our screens let you open them without leaving the house unlocked.

Airflow is the point

Away from the coast, a house heats up through the afternoon and holds on to it. The quickest relief is a cross-breeze: one opening at the front, one at the back.

That usually means the front door and a patio door. With a hinged screen on one and a sliding screen on the other, both can stand open while you are at home, and both are locked.

Less heat building up indoors means less work for the air conditioning.

Windows too

Screens for the windows you actually open

  • Fixed screens for kitchen and living-room windows.
  • Fire-escape screens for bedrooms.
  • Frames matched across doors and windows, so the house looks consistent from the street.

San Gabriel Valley questions

Do I still need marine-grade steel this far inland?

316 stainless is suggested within 30 miles of the coast, which takes in much of the valley. It is also the grade recommended for heat and pollution. It is what we specify everywhere.

Which cities do you cover?

Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley. Call or text (424) 352-1723 to check your street.

Can I leave the screens open-door all day while I am out?

A locked security screen is far stronger than an insect screen, but no screen is unbreakable. When the house is empty, we suggest closing and locking the main door as well.
